Drew Johnson

We are pleased to offer to you this wonderful ORIGINAL ART, page 16 from issue #2 of Dark Horse Comics’ Ghost title from 2014, penciled by the talented Drew Edward Johnson who is perhaps best known for his work on DC Comics’ Wonder Woman.

Drew donated this 11.5x17.5” page from his personal collection for the benefit of the NCS Foundation. Not only is this a great piece of art from one of comics’ finest artists, but it is also a great look into the process of comic book art to see the original pencil lines, along with little indications Drew put in for the inker where areas should be filled in with black.

Drew Edward Johnson started drawing comic books in 1995 with the Dark Horse Comics/Lucasfilm title Star Wars X-Wing: Rogue Squadron. His work has since been published by DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Archie/ Dark Circle Comics, IDW, Top Cow, DDP, Wildstorm, BOOM! Studios, Disney Publishing, and Sports Illustrated. Past commercial clients have included Hasbro Toys and Walt Disney Studios. In short, you have probably seen Drew’s art before.
