Scott Gimple

The Walking Dead has been a phenomenon on television since its debut in 2010 on AMC. Originally developed for the small screen by movie maven Frank Darabont, The Walking Dead was based on something near and dear to the National Cartoonists Society - a comic book (by Charlie Adlard, Robert Kirkman, and Tony Moore - check our other auctions for an original page from the comic!)

You are bidding on an ORIGINAL SCRIPT from The Walking Dead, Episode 501 titled No Sanctuary from 2014. It was donated and AUTOGRAPHED in silver by the current head of the show and the writer for this episode, Scott M. Gimple. Printed on 8.5x11” paper held together by metal paper fasteners, this is a pristine copy of the script. It has no production markings inside.

Scott Gimple has been one who has experience in many areas of entertainment. Besides The Walking Dead, he written for other live-action shows such as NBC’s Life, Drive for Fox, and FlashForward for ABC. He has worked in animation writing for Disney’s Pepper Ann, and created Fillmore!, also for Disney. To top it all off, he also has worked in comics writing for The Simpsons published by Bongo Comics, and he co-created with NCS President Bill Morrison the comic book Heroes Anonymous.
