Stephen Silver has donated his beautiful out-of-print hardcover book LIFE: Life Drawing in Character Design published in 2008 featuring many of his life drawings and how they apply to animation character designs. Stephen signed the book, and drew a sketch in it in brown ink. He also generously includes the ORIGINAL DRAWING of the cowboy that is on the cover of the book!!! It is inked on 8.5x11” paper, and signed by Silver in pencil. If you are a Silver fan, don’t miss this chance for a GREAT drawing by him to inspire you to continue your best with your own character designs!
Stephen Silver has been one of the most exciting character designers working in animation over the past two decades. He made his name with designing the characters for Nickelodeon’s Danny Phantom show, and fans still can’t get enough of his Kim Possible characters designed for Disney. He had contributed to many projects over the years such as Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Kevin Smith’s animated Clerks, The Fairly OddParents, The Penguins of Madagascar TV series, The Cleveland Show, and Phineas & Ferb.
Silver has also devoted a lot of his time to teaching others the craft he loves so much by giving lectures to students around the globe, teaching classes online, and even in his own school in Southern California.
