The Force is strong in this one. Artist Brandon McKinney has expertly drawn in ink the epic battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader at the climax of Return of the Jedi for this great piece created for a Big Little Book published in 1997. The image area of this ORIGINAL ART measures approximately 6x6”, and comes matted in a way strangely appropriate for the Empire setting of this lightsaber duel.
Brandon McKinney is a comic book and storyboard artist who has worked in the industry for almost several decades. He has drawn storyboards for animation such as on Batman Beyond, The Avengers, Scooby-Doo, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. In comics, he has written and penciled Elfquest, Godzilla for Dark Horse, Bruce Lee: The Dragon Rises series, and his own Image title Journeyman. He also did the art for four Star Wars movie adaptations for the Big Little Book series, from which this piece comes.
