Earlier this year, Luke McGarry created an online sensation with his “Sad Chewy” drawings that poked fun at (spoiler alert) the wookie’s inevitable melancholic feelings towards the death of his longterm business partner Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Poor Chewy.

Besides this and other viral comics, Luke McGarry has drawn for the likes of Businessweek, The New York Observer, Goldenvoice, FYF Fest, Myspace, Vans Shoes, Chilli Beans Sunglasses, and Universal Music Group. He has created a number of animations and music videos for VISA, IFC, Epitaph Records, Universal Republic, and the NHL. He also has become known for his terrific poster art for Jack Black’s Festival Supreme charity concerts.
