Bill Morrison

This is a gorgeous Donald Duck GICLÈE PRINT by artist and NCS President Bill Morrison. Titled Many Moods of Donald, it was published in 2014 by Acme Archives in their line of Disney Limited Art Collection pieces and sold ONLY IN JAPAN making it difficult for American collectors to get their hands on it. Well, you are in luck. Americans may bid on this, AND it just so happens that this 17x21” beauty is an extra limited Artist Proof hand-numbered “5/10AP”. It is also hand signed by the artist who donated this from his personal collection, and comes with a COA from Acme Archives.

Bill Morrison’s career started as an illustrator for movie posters back in the 1980s and 1990s with such classics as the horror film House, and believe it or not, many for Disney movies such as re-releases of Peter Pan, Cinderella, Bambi, & The Jungle Book, and the first run posters for Oliver & Company, Mickey Mouse in Prince and the Pauper, and The Little Mermaid (yes, the one of urban legend fame). For the past 25 years, Bill has been working with Matt Groening at Bongo Comics art directing many comic books and hard cover Simpsons books. Somewhere in all of that, Bill created his own comics Roswell: Little Green Man and the Dark Horse Comics mini-series Dead Vengeance.
